Young Thug’s label, YSL Records, is a subsidiary of 300 Entertainment. Thug announced the creation of YSL records via his Snapchat story touring his new office on November 15th, 2016.
The story includes a toast by 300 Ent. co-founder Kevin Liles, who states how Thug is “Always standing 300 with us. Him starting a new venture is going to take us to a different mindset…He’s not just an artist in this particular case.” Check out the footage below.
What does YSL stand for?
YSL stands for Young Stoner Life or Young Slime Life, and the label’s members use both interchangeably. The label YSL Records is often confused with the French luxury fashion brand, Yves Saint Laurent.
