“Trapped on Cleveland” refers to the Cleveland Avenue apartment complex in Atlanta, which is home to YSL affiliate Young Thug. Lil Keed references some of his primary influences as Young Thug and Rich Kidz. The music video for Keed’s 2018 single ‘Wop’ was shot in front of the Cleveland Ave apartments and directed by Be EL Be, who has directed many of Young Thug’s music videos including ‘Best Friend’ and ‘Again’.

The sequel, Trapped on Cleveland 2, was released in July of 2018 across all major streaming services such as Spotify, Apple Music, and Soundcloud. The mixtape consists of 16 songs (including his breakout hit ‘Blicky Blicky’) and is mostly produced by Mooktoven.
